it was in november, 1983, and it was the guy i ended up marrying...instant cosmic attraction...i opened the door to the bar he was hanging out at and our eyes instantly connected...it was eerily cosmic...

23 years later we still rock each others world...most days =)...

    peace...

    HA!!!!
it's been way too long. and everytime I look back on the last/only two relationships I have all I see is deception on my part.... so I don't know that anyone has truly rocked my world. I may not believe in that. but maybe I'm jaded.

My boyfriend, last night when I got home from work. All I can say is WOW!
The first time we really connected was pretty cool too. He was dressed as "junk food" at a costume party and was covered in candy. I had just come off the south beach diet with no sugar for six weeks, so that may have had something to do with how yummy he looked that night!

crazy as may be...it was a guy I met on my cruise last year...we met the 1st day then spent the next 6 days spending way too much time with him...he was someone that back home I wouldn't have given him a second glance...the way I look at it is that I needed someone that I could talk to...we clicked & it went from there...still to this day we are in contact with each other...but we are just friends now...though he says the only reason for that is...we live 16 hours apart...oh well...at least he was there for me when I needed someone...

Good question. Am I the only one here who remembers the meetings more than the goodbyes? I swear I can remember the moment certain people even walked through the door, and what they were wearing.

To answer your question: Three years ago. The sense of attraction, and familiarity as if we'd met in another lifetime even, was overwhelming.

There is this kid that I used to know...and I thought he died...but he found me earlier this year from Iraq as random as that is...He most definately rocks my world even though I havent been in the same room as him in a bajillion years. When he gets back to the states... :)

new york city. october 2005. japanese dinner in lower east side. he'd come back after tending to his family post-hurricane in houston. i was on a hiatus away from crazed life of study, work & family in australia. physical, mental, emotional. i was & still am attached to someone else but wonder if this is the man of my future. it scares me & exhilirates me. i'll have to take a risk sometime very soon. wish me luck & love.

Almost 5 years ago. I caught him looking at me from across the Starbucks, he had a huge grin on his face as he watched me agonize as I waited for my coffee and a crazy woman talked to me, thinking I was her daughter. Not necessarily a sexual attraction but I really wanted to know him just from his smile and knowing look. We've been best friends ever since and I'm so glad I went for coffee that morning.
