With my Mother, Father, all my sisters, nieces and nephews... Proper big family affair :o)

Good as that sounds, unfortunitly the person I would wish to be there more than all others, wont be.

So Guess I'll just have to eat her share of the Chocolate :o)

    Ciao Ciao

With my siblings and our partners, and my aunt and uncle who live about an hour away. My mother lives in South Africa and my father died a few years ago, so we go spend it with his sister. It used to involve a big dinner, but she's too old to do all that work and to drive here, so we'll find a nice restaurant and go there then head back to her place for coffee and desert, which she still loves to bake.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

for the first time in 23 years...nothing. at most, i'll dye easter eggs b/c i'll get bored sunday afternoon.

Not sure, I'm not at all religious, although hiding dyed eggs and eating chocolate bunnies really has nothing to do with religion. The Roommate's crazy mom is coming over, so there's sure to be drama.

    At a spa...in a steamroom...immersed in mud...massaged...but deliciously alone

Easter is not a big deal for me. I'm religious and my family is from Europe. Maybe I'll see my mom.. but more than likely I'll go to work in the morning and spend the rest of the day with my boyfriend, not doing anything in particular.

certainly not like the children in that photo!
It's sandwich day this year... the day between my birthday and my partner's. We'll egg hunt with our baby for the first time, and eat all sorts of egg free goodies (baby has a sever allergy) and hopefully sleep till at least 8:30

I think that I will never spend Easter. I will put it in that special place reserved for the little toys I got from Kinder Surprise Chocolate Eggs.

I am having dinner with the in-laws, and that's OK: I actually get along better with them than with my own folks, who live 800 miles away.

I bought 10 big chocolate Easter bunnies two weeks ago; one each for kids and grandkids and my wife, also started buying them for my nephews when they were young, and though they're 16 and 18 now, I'd better not forget!

Easter egg hunt with the grandkids, an afternoon of being Grandpa...

I have been 'prepping' already through a marathon week of services and we arent done yet. Saturday night my church will break our fast at a party after the Easter Vigil and Sunday I am going to the early service at my church so I can be with my friend when he is baptized at his. Then I think I will wander back to mine for lunch. I won't spend it with any family but my church and my friends...thats what I really want and need anyways. -Jn

    That's what I call a holiday.

We slept in, bummed around and then went to my parents for steak dinner and silliness with my aunt and uncle. We aren't religious, so that aspect has no significance to us. I'm sure all the rest of them went to church in the morning, but I didn't ask. We don't discuss religion (or politics) so that we can all be in the same room together.

Last year we went to Vegas. What better way to celebrate jesus, right? This year we had a "no more alimony party" because my hubby's ex got married! Yeah!
