I called in to a radio station in Charlotte, NC once when I was in high school and got to talk to Tommy Chong. If that doesn't count, I met Mike D outside of the Tibetan Freedom Concert in Taipei two years ago.

Adam Faith. Okay, you've never heard of him outside the UK.
In the late 50' / early 60's Adam was a HUGE star in Britsland. Loads of top ten hits. Well, when I was a little boy me and my "big sister" waited outside a seaside theatre stage door to get Adam's autograph. There were only about a dozen girls there. (So maybe the Beatles had arrived on the charts by then). As the green limo rolled up they all started screaming and pushing. The next thing I know I'm trapped INSIDE the stage door alone with Adam Faith, and everyone else is on the outside. I was petrified! He says "What do YOU want curly?" Trembling I replied "Can I have your autograph please Adam?" He signed, and I couldn't escape quick enough. Of course outside the door I was something of a hero.

    I still have the autograph.

On the streets of Chicago on a busy crosswalk, I accidentally walked into Mel Gibson...went like this...*big crash* "oh I'm sorry bout that, my bad...*I look up*...Mel Gibson??..." He laughs at my confusion, says "no big deal"..*shakes hand*. not much of a meeting...

Also, had to help some friends carry out Eminem when he was wasted at a party in Detroit.

Met Flava-Flav too...before his recent resurgence into Pop-culture.

Lots of bands/dj's...I work in a club.

Gene Simmons from Kiss. It was 1986 and me and a friend got backstage passes handed to us. We went back but Gene was the only one we were able to meet and that was only because he wanted to have sex with us. I didn't but I think my friend did him an oral favor if memory serves me correctly. But that was long ago and I was drunk but I do know we met him because I have pictures to prove it.

I never met anyone famous, but was on an airplane last year with Colin Farrel. That's about it. I have seen famous go by at airports and restaurants, but I am too shy and respectful to ever say "boo", never mind hello.

    Cheers,

The man who discovered/pioneered Genetic fingerprinting used to give me a lift to school occassionally, Proffessor Sir Alex Jeffreys. He may not be celebrity-famous but he'll probably get his name in the history books, thats good enough for me. The first man that was ever caught using the genetic fingerprinting method lived a few doors away from my aunty too, didn't actually know him though which was all very well seeing as he was a serial murderer.

Clint Eastwood here. I work for a helicopter company and he owns one. He visits our facility every couple of years to renew his training. He's a cool guy.

Don't know if they are celebrity status, but my husband and I have hung out with the band Guster. They rule.

Oh yeah, I met Dale Earnhart on his birthday just days before he won at Daytona. I had forgotten about it since I've blocked Nascar from my memory since I got rid of my ex husband.

My high school madrigal group sang happy birthday to Dizzie Gillespie before a concert. Our director was a huge fan and wrote a special birthday song just for him. At the time, I had no idea who Dizzy was! I didn't realize he was a music legend until years later.
