When is the last time you missed a day of work?
What was the reason (illness, family emergency, sick kids, etc.)?

    about 2 weeks ago...woke up beside a beautiful woman. I decided my day would be better spent in bed wiht her...than at my desk, wishing I was having sex.

    I've missed a lot of partial days in the last month or so from dealing with house buying stuff. The last full day I missed was March 20th, because I was at the hospital until 1am the night before with my sister having her first baby. I spent the day sleeping in, taking my brother back to college and visiting with my new nephew.

    i make my own hours so i get lots of time off...but i did the 9-5 for years and years and it was grueling...

    I took last Monday off just because I felt like it.

    I used a legitimate sick day on March 4th. I had a bad reaction to a tetanus shot and couldn't get out of bed all day.

    Work sent me home sick on Monday because they had extra people; when I didn't come in on Tuesday because I still had the runs they called it unexcused because I didn't go to the Dr. and get a note. I've now had 5 of those in 27.5 years...

    a lil' over a week ago...i was forced to take a a day off because i was clockin' too much OT. and that's on sunday.

    I'll be calling off "sick" this coming Tuesday. Truth is, I'm going to be at an all-day interview/trial run with a potential new employer. More $$$, a more secure future, etc...
    The last time I called off was 2 months ago-- I was legitimately ill with that nasty stomach virus, and missed 2 days.

    Last time I missed work was because I was struggling with major anxiety. Instead of going to work I just ended up sleeping ... It really wasn't much fun.

    I missed a half day a couple weeks back. Didn't get a good night's sleep the night before, could tell that I wasn't going to be good for anything, and suddenly realized that once my class was over, everything else could wait a day.

    I went home and slept for about three hours. Felt so great.

    Just this last Friday a weekend away with the Girls....a vacation day.....and before that 3 days to go to NOLA.....and now coming up a 4 day weekend for Easter....wouldn't 4 days weeks be glorious!!

    I'm home this morning waiting for the oven repair man. Oh joy! But I'm going to paint my bathroom while I wait, so it's not wasted time. Besides, I'll take any time away from work that I can!

    This past Friday. I stayed up late having sex and when my daughter woke up with stomach issues I decided to call in "kid sick".

    I missed work March 9&10 to take my step son camping. I am ready for another day off but I never take a sick day because we get paid for what we don't use at the end of the year. :)

    I took off on Friday, March 31, to move into a new abode. We are officially in the new place, and the PODS unit we used to move is being hauled away today.
