The last time I talked to my father I was disappointed in the fact that our relationship is so bad that we can't even speak for 1 minute without fighting.

Every time I look at my paycheck.
Oh, and every time Bush opens his mouth or makes another one of his briliant appointments.

When I realized I probably won't be able to do a very fun, wonderful thing with my partner because I should go to the horrible, boring Mother Daughter Tea with my grandmother. It's bad enough to miss out on something you really want to do, but to miss it because of some lame family obligation that you really don't want to do sucks.

My script just got railed. I am an undercover writer cause I don't take criticism well. Now I just have to figure out how to suck it up and fix it or...give up.

I actually can't think of anything, or that am I just lying to myself?!? But your question today reminded me of a short Sufi story that I came across a long time ago:
Life and Disappointment
Seeing an old lady of evident serenity and knowledge sitting opposite me on a train, I leant forward and asked her: "What wisdom can you pass on to me?"
She said: "Young man, all I have got to say is that life has been a great disappointment to me!"

What disappoints us can only make us stronger.
I have little baby ones all the time. And sometimes big huge ones.
I call it life and learn from it and try to move on.

Tonight. I wanted to spend some time with a friend and suggested we get some wine and watch a movie, and she was up for it--but she had also considered watching a movie w/ a mutual friend as well as some other people. we ended up getting the wine....and joining them. and watched this movie Nashville. which I couldn't stand. honestly I may have just been pissed off b/c 2 of the people are not my favorite people. but the movie was horrendous. and the night wasn't what I wanted it to be. I had to remind myself about a little thing that happened during the day that was really cool...

Everytime I see a dog come into foster care that has been abused. I am truly disapointed in man kind, that we can abuse, neglect and mis-treat animals that are helpless.
