Every time I have to leave a message on someone's voice mail. I don't know why, but I get really flustered every single time.

    Ditto freedom_sprite
    (I even felt mildly
    embarassed typing that...)

    Big time embarassment?
The time I met D.'s boss and asked him how he got the huge black eye...
In the 2 years D. had been working for him, he had NEVER once mentioned that the guy had a gigantic raspberry-type birthmark thingie that looked exactly like he'd been clocked.
    Ugh.

a couple of weeks ago at a Rangers baseball game, I feel down 8 or 9 stairs. Everyone applauded so I just took a bow. I'm a clutz.

I don't embarrass easily, mainly because I learned how to laugh at myself a long time ago.
The last time I was really embarrassed? I lost my job 3 years ago because of a misunderstanding/ honest mistake, and had to tell my wife I'd been fired. I felt SOOOOOOOO small.

    I can't remember....

I think I feel a bit embarrassed at how arrogant that sounds.

I seem to succeed at that on an almost daily basis...

Tonight it's because the "Ruffles demon" caught me again after I'd had a very good day of eating healthy!

The other day at my sons Cub Scout meeting. I was talking to a group of people and I stumbled on my words. I cannot talk to groups of people. I just get to nervous. I could never be a public speaker...

I am achingly self conscious all the time and so tend to be embarrassed for myself and others alot.

Most recently, I was embarrassed on Saturday night when our friend was complaining to the restaurant manager about our terrible meal - she had every right to but I just cannot handle confrontation. So I stayed in the toilets til she had vented her spleen (we got a discount tho!)

Just now in my annual performance review. First, my boss said I'm not nice enough to people because I'm too focused on my work. And I cried because I was angry and upset, which always embarasses me at work.

Every time my typing fingers and my brain don't connect - which is quiet often...
It's soooo hard not to be perfect.

I think I do something embarrassing everyday. It's kind of a tape or a mantra running through my head: "God, that was embarrassing..."

Like today I was making really bad jokes at work. There is this action figure (identity unknown) at the office. I have been drawing faces for it on Post-It notes and taping the face to the plastic face. When I peeled one off today I had left the previous drawn-on face underneath it. So I said, "Look, he's two-faced!" Then when I attached a cashew to his head with a paper clip I said he was a "little nuts." See? I live in embarrassment.
