november 4th. i went into the chapel on my alma matter's campus. hanging from the windows and the balcony were hundreds of orgami cranes. it was beautiful and very calming. especially since my friend and i just went in to use the bathroom.

This past spring. I used to be a "regular," but personally, for me, church just doesn't work for me anymore.
...I am NOT bashing or criticizing anyone who attends church consistently. If it's good for you, then, well, good for you.

i do not worship in a church, ever, and probably the last time i was in one was for some sort of musical event...maybe last december...i can't recall, exactly when...

As a Reborn Again Atheist I have an odd relationship with churches. Architecturally and Historically I love the places, but spiritually, well I won't got there...
Last Wednesday... The funeral of a good friend and colleague of 12 years...

My sisters wedding, a year ago February. And before that, to see her church to get an idea of where things would be set up.
Church just doesn't do it for me. I'd rather get spiritual in the forest or at the ocean.

I was there last Sunday. Yup, I'm a religious one. I go every Sunday, even if I don't get much out of it right now with three very young, active children. But I try to teach them how to recognize the Spirit and I try to keep it with me, and going to church helps. At least for me.
