    sunday, technically. i went back to texas for my college homecoming weekend. i also took one monday because we missed our connecting flight in houston. at least they gave us a free hotel room!

    I took a half day on the Friday before Halloween to get ready for our big party. Before that, it was two weeks in August for vacation.

    I have the Wednesday off before Thanksgiving, which I am really looking forward to!

    July of '05. I neede a "Mental health" day. A lot of stuff was going on in every corner of my life, so I took the day off, got into the car and drove to a quiet field I used to go to reflect and "gather myself" when growing up. I hadn't been there in years, and in so many ways, it was still the same it was years ago.

    Yesterday since my son was puking during the night before. It ended up being about 80 degrees and beautiful so I was happy to be home
