Three Hundred and Fiftieth Question

For those of you who voted today, did you have any
trouble with the process? Was your polling place crowded?
How long did you have to wait to cast your ballot?

I went and voted during my lunch hour today. There seemed to be a steady stream of people coming in, but I didn't have any wait before getting a ballot.

One complaint though, no one ever notified me that my long time polling place had changed! Someone happened to send me a link this morning to look up polling places, so I thought I better double check. Glad I did! The polling place was about three miles away from my house, as opposed to the 1/2 block I used to go. It's kinda shady that no one was notified, because since I didn't have any trouble with the change, I can just imagine alot of older people or those with limited transportation probably did.

No. We mail in our ballots (Oregon). Easy as pie. The harderst part of the process was figuring out all of the measueres and what they really meant.

I voted by mail in Oregon as well. I dropped off our ballots at the box conveniently located on campus.

There were a ton of measures to wade through and I waited until the last minute.

I voted as soon as I got done with work. I was in and out in 2 minutes. It's a small town, so there's never a "throng" of folks there, but the workers told me voter turnout was pretty high.
We had antiquated pull-lever machines until this last year, and now we have the new touch-screen computers. Very simple process.

Walked in before work. No line to sign in, no wait at the machine. It took me about 5 minutes to fill out my ballot. Dropped my card in the box and proudly wore my sticker all day long.
