    Not a player...we were given GM stock at one point in lieu of a raise, then the next contract they "changed the type" of stock and we had to sell it; I've never been involved since.

    i don't follow the stock market except when i happen to catch the closing totals on line or on the radio. and i've never bought any stocks online. i do watch my roth IRA. it's earned a whopping $40-something this year.

    i get the basics of how the market works, and my dad tries to get my to understand it better, but i'm pretty sure i'll stay at a limited understanding.

    My grandfather had purchased quite a few stocks. When he became ill and passed away, my parents didn't want to bother with them, so I tracked the market for a year for them. It drove me nuts, and this was when the market was much more stable. (A daily gain of 20 pts on the big board was huge.)
    Thankfully, my mom and her brother agreed to sell the shares and divide the receipts 50/50.

    I think we had to do a project on the stock market in advanced class in fourth grade. I do not have a head for economics.

    I follow it alot I don't own any stocks at the moment but I have always liked reading the stock market page as an adult I usually play these free online games where you can buy and manage a stock protfolio for free and play with other people maybe one day when I have enough I will start investing a little here and there

    i have a finance guy that does this for me as part of my retirement...i'd never mess around with it myself...
