What is the best cure for a headache?

    For me, it's SLEEP! That's usually why I have a headache in the first place. Taking advil, putting ice on my neck and stretching also help. Caffeine will sometimes work too.

    alka seltzer
    lemon lime cold formula
    and tiger balm, spread liberally.

    OK Ladies, I need to know these answers, help me out here!!!! LOL ;o)

    ...but while I'm on this line of thinking...

    In the 6th Century BC an Ancient Persian remedy for a headaches was sex and orgasm(Wishful thinking? ;o) )... Ahh you may scouff but they also used the oil from willow trees, from which aspirin was derived centuries later...

    And don't start about Coital Cephalgia either, I've never had one! (The Headache that is ;o) )

    Ohhh... I only get headaches when I'm tired, so just a couple of straight good old fashion paracetamol and so sleep if i can fit it in :o)

    fletch is right. Sex and orgasms!

    Lots of ibuprofen works, unless it is a sinus headache - then it's Tylenol Cold and Flu for me.

    If it is tension, Xanax and Valium sometimes do the trick.

    But I prefer to try the sex first.

    True, depends on the type of headache...
    Stress: SLEEP!
    Sinus: Antihystimines, which induce sleep.
    Migraine: Peace and quiet, heat on the neck and of course, sleep!

    Migriane headaches are my usuall and rest, quiet, darkness, and a cold wash cloth does it for me. If it is just a normal headache aleve is my friend.
