Fran is the love of my life. How to describe her? Hmmmm... the other half of my heart. She's exceedingly smart (Mensa), but yet has absolutely no sense of direction, and when we change the clocks it always confuses her whether it's going to be lighter longer or not. She's perceptive, and totally on the ball; doesn't miss a trick. She's funny, with a really dry sense of humor that just totally catches you off guard. She knows how to laugh at herself. She's a wonderful mother, able to see things in Jen and know just the right ways to handle them, especially because they're so much alike. She loves to tease, but never too much, the twinkle in her eye and the dimples always give her away. I love the way she takes care of me, just with every day little things. She's shy at times, especially when I tell her she's beautiful. She makes me think of the line from a country music song that says, "She don't know she's beautiful." Sometimes I look at her and still get butterflies and tummy flips. She's also stubborn, and totally anal, and can make me crazy frustrated. I finally had to tell her to stop flipping people off when they cut her off on the road. She's my best friend, my lover, my soul-mate, my everything, all wrapped up in one.

The love of my life is my husband of nearly four years.

He is British, a Cockney (think Michael Caine) born and raised in London.

He gave up his life in the UK to marry me and move to California.

We have a true, pure unconditional love.

What more could you possibly ask for?

Oh yeah, he's fabulous in bed.

Love of my life? I used to believe in the idea of having just one love of my life, but I'm not sure there is just one. Love is such an infinite state and I'm not sure I could be certain that I could only have one true love. BUT at this moment in my life I have the only love I want, as well as the love I need. He satisfies me in ways that no one else ever has. He doesn't "complete" me per se, but together we are completely what the other needs. We had a whirlwind romance complete with a proposal on Juliet's balcony in Verona, Italy, but we've had our fair share of complete and total relationship chaos over the years. He means the world to me, but there was a time not so long ago that I thought I would have to part ways with him and our marriage. It was a heartbreaking time period for me to say the least--having to choose what was needed rather than what I wanted. But thankfully he found a balance between his emotional problems and our love and we've never been happier. I am so proud of him and I truly feel as if we're one of the lucky ones. This year marks our 6 year wedding anniversary and I look forward to the next fifty years with him by my side.

Yes I have met the love of my life. And the only description I can give is to say she is everything I am not. And everyday for the last 5 years has been better because I wake up to her.

Met him when I was 9 and told my sister I was going to marry him! Met him again when I was 15 and married him when I was 18. Everyone said it never works when you get married too young...well 20 years later I'm still married to the man of my dreams! And together we created the child of our dreams 11 years ago! Life is good when you get up everyday and are thankful for what you create together!

You know what. I am the love of my life. I say this because I believe if we don't love ourselves we can never, ever love someone else.

In the course of my life I have been lucky and in love with some extraordinary people. With some of those people, there was a physical love as well as an intellectual love.

Today the loves of my life are my friends. I truly value what they bring to my table each and every day and I thank each one of them for that!

She loves to write poetry. You should visit her sometime on her blog Mind Fiction. Very unique. I love her with all my heart. My soulmate for life.

Yes, I've met him. I've known him my entire life. He's indescribable. In order for you to be able to understand just what he means to me as a person, you'd have to experience him. Words, pictures, illustrations, nothing would be able to adequately describe him.

How do you know if you've met them? How does one know if the other person is "the one"?

Maybe I have... maybe not. If I have, it's someone who has unexpected amounts of love and care within them, and a sense of humor gentler than mine.
