    Laundry, an early (by a week) birthday party, and (hopefully) a chance to show off a new car.

    This weekend is my moms birthday so I am taking her out for dinner and then on Sunday I have to drive to Alabama to pick up my daughter who has been gone for a month and I can't wait to see her. Not very much 'fun' but I am still looking forward to it.

    Tonight, Hooters and movie, The Skeleton Key. Tomorrow taking the dog to the beach. Sunday chilling at home. :)

    Since I'm fortunate enough to not have to work for a living, everyday is the weekend for me.

    As far as fun, anything can be fun. Even bringing in the mail. I'm easily amused.

    Although I must admit, it appears that jb will be having the most fun of all.

    Cleaning mud off the carpet tomorrow that the dog tracked in. WNBA game tomorrow night, friend coming to visit us and pick up older computer we're giving her Sun. afternoon, and American Idols concert Sunday night. Oh, and a few hours of "work" that I have to do before work on Monday. Oh, and the usual laundry and groceries. Weekends aren't usually this hectic. It's very unusual for us to go out that much.

    Picking up my daughter. She spends six weeks every summer with her Dad. I'll be happy tomorrow. He'll be sad. She'll be conflicted and confused.

    Bumming around with The Hubs today. Turned down an overtime shift this morning because it's the only day I have at home this weekend. Worked Friday, work tomorrow. Sigh. But we went into town and ran some errands together, then came home and watched a couple DVDs. The 16 y/o will be home again sometime this week, so we're making the most of what little alone-time we have left.

    My ex is getting married (again. Third times the charm, right?)

    He's invited us to come celebrate with him.

    So, I'm going to sit on my ass watching tv, eating bon-bons and not do a damn thing. LOL
