I broke my ankle when I was about 6 years old. My babysitter was giving me a ride on the back of her ten-speed bike down the gravel alley behind our house. Somehow we tipped over and I fell off the bike. I don't remember how I got back into the house, but my next memory is sitting on the kitchen floor listening to her call my parents on the phone. I remember watching a bright red drip of blood running down my leg from off of my knee. I had a cast on my ankle for what seemed forever. You can still feel the crack on the surface of my anklebone.

I have broken all of my fingers (not my thumbs though) at least 2 times.Usually the result of my losing my temper and hitting something. Then when I was in the Marine Corps, I fell off of a helicopter I was working on and broke my collar bone. Then later on while I was still in the Marines my g/f and I had fallen asleep after a late night trip to the beach and we were woken up to 3 young men beating the crap out of us which resulted in 3 broken ribs, and a broken nose.

I broke my thumb trying out for cheerleading in junior high. I'm so not a cheerleader. I think it was the first and last time I tried to join something in school. The worst part was I got the cast off and that night - broke it again. Dancing up the stairs to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. I should probably go anon on this one...

I didn't make the squad, btw.

I have never broken a bone. I had my arm dislocated when I was 4 years old by my babysitter's sons. I only know this because it was mentioned when I was a teenager. I remember them twisting my arm behind my back and I think that may be how it happened. They said I was hiding under a bed and they were trying to pull me out. No wonder I was hiding under the bed. They were a bunch of young sadists. My mom never took me back to that babysitter.

I did have an accident with my 4-wheeler when I was 13. My sister was on the back and I jumped a small hill. She hit her arm on the metal rack on the back and broke her arm. I felt/still feel terrible for it.

I tripped over a curb at the bus stop when I was in fourth grade and broke my wrist. Three days later, I tripped over the same curb and broke my ankle. I'm a genius like that.

    Do teeth count?

I chipped my front tooth roller skating in the 5th grade.

Luckily, my uncle was a dentist!

Practically every bone in my body has been broken at one time or another. My horse rolled on me whe I was in 5th grade. Body cast. Broke both of my feet jumping out of a barn loft, broken every finger in various accidents, a couple of weeks ago, I broke my toe tripping up a set of concrete steps.

Never officially diagnosed but I am SURE I have broken my toe twice...apparently they do not put casts on broken toes.

Supposedly I had a stress fracture in my right foot about 7 years ago. I saw supposedly because after spending 5 weeks in a cast, and Fran having to drive me everywhere, I was then told that it wasn't broke after all. I'll never know!

When I was about 7 or 8 I was rolling around in a large cardboard box and a neighbor boy jumped on me and broke my wrist, (I got him back Hehehe) & then about 5 years ago I was putting up an antenna for my ham radio, stepped in a hole and broke my foot. I didn't think it was broken but I hobbled around Walmart for an hour grocery shopping and when I came out I was in tears. Yep, doc says, you broke it good. Wore a purple cast for weeks. Even went camping with my cubscout troup on crutches!

Between the ages of 7 and 10:
    1. Broke my tailbone by falling backwards on skates on a slight slope of concrete... Every once in a while, it moves out of it's normal space and I can feel it move. Ick.

    2. I broke a floating rib or two either by tripping and landing on the corner of my lunch box, or by standing up to some bullies to defend a friend.
    I'm not sure which.

    3. I was having a bad day and not watching where I was going, and walked right into a pipe sticking out of the wall. Something kindof felt like it was moving around in the front of my forehead. I only realized damage had been done when I saw blood dripping on my shoes!

When I was... 5? 6? I tripped down some stairs and broke a tooth on the edge of a step.

I may or may not have broken toes, maybe a pinky.

Broke my left pinky while bowling. It's actually a pretty funny story. It was 10 in the morning and I was bowling on a league. The first ball I threw, I stuck to the floor and went sliding down the lane. Well, when I went sliding down the oily lane my pinky clipped the gutter and yanked it to the side. Ouch. I was looking at my left hand and my pinky was sticking out to the left so I cupped it back in and I could here it crackle. Doctor said I broke it back into place and if I had not done that it would of been more painful for him to do it then I to do it when I was still in shock. Ouch. I was 26.
