Not sure if I can pinpoint 10, and these aren't in any particular order... Here goes... (And later prioritized.)

#3-Getting a new job-- one I actually like!

#4-Celebrating 1 year at our current residence.

#7-Going to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert, 30 feet off the front corner of the stage.

#2-The children were healthy all year long.

    #5-We bought a new car!

#6-Celebrating a full year of blogging on "People Say Stupid Things."

#8-"Heroes," the best TV show to come on in years, IMO.

#1-Closing the book on a long, dark chapter in my life so I can open a new one!

    - Got married
    - Had my out of town family to my house (for the wedding in my backyard) and was proud to show it off.
    - Took the wife with me to Toronto on business, had a great vacation.
    - Ditto, only to Atlanta.
    - I was healthy (for the most part) all year long.
    - Got a promotion (kinda) at work. Just a reworking of my title. But it really eased the stress.
    - Found out who my REAL friends are and grew closer to them.
    - On a sad note, attended services for a friend who was killed in Iraq.
    - Honestly feel like a real mentor to my best friend.
    - Have seen my wife grow as a person and actually recognized it happening at the moment, it was breath taking. She's amazing.

There are so many more, but these popped into my head.

Wow, 10?! 10 is a lot! These are in no order.
    1. Getting the job I have now
    2. Losing the job I had before I got the current one
    3. Um, something really personal happening that has never happened to me before
    4. The thing that happened with the person related to #3
    5. Sometime during this year I quit writing
    6. Developing a new close friendship
    7. Reconnecting with someone I knew a long time ago and what's been going on there
    8. Dealing with a chronic health issue, finally
    9. Me and this other person doing the thing again which we both really need to stop
    10. My dog having 3 teeth pulled under general anesthesia.

Okay, these are also in no particular order:
--The birth of my 3rd son
--Seeing my husband graduate with his master's degree
--Making the move to a new city and state
--Surviving another year with severe depression (but surviving because of medication!)
--Getting offered a job during the interview
--Becoming closer to people who were once mere acquaintances but are now my best friends
--Turning 30 and being in a good mood all day
--Making my 4 year old's dream Halloween costume at the last second with just stuff from around the house and having people recognize that he was Obi Wan Kenobi
    --Started playing my flute again
--Getting to play my flute in a really good group
