Three Hundred and Seventieth Question

"...when you in your return shall arrive at pier No. 70 you may step aboard your waiting ship with a reconciled spirit, and lay your course toward the sinking sun with a contented heart."

70, if alive. I hope to be able to still walk, talk, think and move about on my own with little assitance. I hope i am happy and healthy as can be.
My mom turns 70 in february and she is still one active woman. I admire her.

Older. My body probably will have failed me in some way, shape or form-- perhaps my wretched knees-- but as long as I have my mental faculties, I'll be content.
The only other hope I have for that stage of my life is to see my children's children, with their families happy and well-adjusted.

All of my grandparents have lived to 80 or longer, so my guess is I'll still be around. I hope to God I'm still in decent health and self-sufficient. But 70 doesn't seem that old anymore, considering how many vibrant, active seniors I see these days. I hope I'm like one of them.

i picture myself still having fun, but with a few more wrinkles (ahem, i mean laugh lines). as long as i am still surrounding by my family and friends, i will be fine.
my grandmother is 72, my grandfather is nearly 80 and both of them are still kickin' like they are no older than 40. so i think i have a good chance of enjoying life at 70+.
