Taking a chance on love again after having my heart broken and my spirit damaged.
I'm thankful every single day that I did.

I don't think I've ever really taken any big risks. So maybe the biggest would have to be changing my life "plan" and instead marrying my husband at the tender age of 21. It has turned out well so far!

probably moving to california after i graduated. not that there was much risk - i had a place to live and a job lined up - but i still felt like i was throwing up everything i ever knew for a new town and a new life. so far, it was a fantastic choice.

Some risks don't work out.
I up and moved my family and I out-of-state to join up with a ministry organization, who ended up leaving us in the cold.
The risk itself was big, and the return was small.
...Or was it?
As a result of what we went through, we moved back to our hometown and greatly simplified our lives. Now we're happier than we've ever been before.

I quit my comfortable low-paying job for a commission based job. Within sic months I my car was re-poed, I was evicted and a man I only considered a friend took me in. Over two years later I am still here, working another comfortable low-paying job and have a fairly nice car. We plan on marrying and having a family. He even loves me when I am uber-bitch like today. My risk paid off.

I am (Don't know if its a good thing or not), a natural risk taker.. Physical risks Ive done them all from Fly-By-Wire to Bungee... But is that risk taking or Adrenaline Junky?
Work wise, its all a calculation, low or no risk, its always worked out for me.
The BIG risks are the ones you take with your heart... (And I've managed to f**k them up on more than one occasion...)

Is it Christmas yet? ;o)

Probably it was moving from Phoenix to Portland OR with no job lined up and no place to live. It was a true test of character and my marriage. Hmmm, we're divorced now, both remarried. I guess we failed the test. At least my character stood tall. I think....

Nancy's so awesome. I always love her answers!
Risks...I can only think of two - leaving a man I'd been with for years, and 5 years later, leaving Texas for L.A. with no job lined up. I wish I took more risks because when I look back, there are too many regrets.
