I would give my mother the gift of full vision. She lost most of her sight when she got retinal neuropathy from diabetes...
If she could see, she could go back to being an artist.

My college roommate, Dan. He lost his sight in a car accident at age 17, and while he has accepted the way things are and has adapted in amazing fashion, I know he'd still like to be able to see again.
Here's a guy who taught me more than anyone was self-determination meant; he'd deserve his wish.

I'd grant my son his wish to have all the lego sets in the whole world because building with legos is one of the most fun and interesting things we do together and I enjoy his excitement over getting new sets.
But the more practical wish to grant him would be that he stop getting so many random bloody noses, he wishes for that constantly.

I would wish that my father would realize how much he's meant to me...and how much he's meant to those around him as well...he shouldn't need reassurance all the time.
