The last handwritten letter I received was Tuesday of this week. The lady who keeps my children during the day (AKA my pseudo-mom) reads my blog(s), but her arthritis keeps her from being able to type for any extended period of time...so instead of posting comments, she will write me a letter. :) I like it.
Yesterday, from my landlady. She said I did my math right on Oct.'s pro-rated rent...then she said she lost my new numbers and please give them to her...but she didn't leave her number, and I lost hers. Uh-oh.
This morning. I leave for work early, before my wife and kids are awake, but my wife and I leave notes for each other every day. She writes to me the night before...
a couple of weeks ago, from my girlfriend in florida...i still have not written back...i will prolly write a lengthy update in the christmas card i'll soon send her...
Hmmm, I think it was sometime last winter after my father died. A few of the older relatives wrote very nice letters full of memories of him, and/or expressing condolences.
A childhood friend sent a nice letter in with her Christmas card this week. The only other person that writes letters on even a semi-regular basis is my grandmother.
I had handwritten notes tucked inside two cards received today - one from one of my sisters, the other a college friend. Another short note came with a Christmas card yesterday, plus I usually receive handwritten letters about once a week from another friend. We exchange regular emails, but I definitely cherish the handwritten letters. It means someone has set aside a bit of time to think of you, rather than rushing to send an email on a work break.

I can't remember either. It seems like everyone either write emails or types up letters and sends them.
I guess the last handwritten thing I got was your postcard. :) Thanks!
