    nice picture!

it wasn't me who did this, but my dad had a pair of slippers that he patched up with duct tape when they started to fall apart. and by "fall apart" i mean, the soles we're gone, there were holes in the toes, and the back of them had started to wear thin. they ended up lasting at least another year and a half.

he said they we're stylish because they were silver...

I wadded it up into a nest, with the sticky side out, and then taped that 'nest' onto the end of a very long tree branch. Then I climbed a ladder, stuck the tree branch through an semi-opened window and used the sticky nest of duct tape to get my house keys off the wall hook and drag them to me so I could get into my house.
    (This took about 2.5 hours!)

This may not be very original, but it sure was practical!
One day, I had no (clothes) lint roller, so I used duct tape to remove all the fuzz and lint from my black dress pants...

We had a cat who unfortunately got snake-bit on the neck. He was okay, but wouldn't quit scratching the wound. My mother got the brillian idea to duct tape a maxi-pad around his neck - like a makeshift C-collar. Worked like a charm! (Wish I had a photo of the cat with his pissed off face!)

I can't think of a darned thing, but I'm sure enjoying your stories!

I did see a guy in a full duct tape suit - pants, jacket, tie - at the Fremont Festival in Seattle last month.

Practical: It's great for blister protection/prevetion. Slap it on im places you know you will get a blister or fold up some gauze of TP or whatever is handy and duct tape around it. It is mostly water proof and dirt proof though its hard to get unsticky.

Amusing: Tackle a friend. Duct tape their hands and feet togethre and too each other...then to the boat. Push them out into the pond without paddles. "Walk away" and watch from behind the bushes. (Have a towel for when they finally swim to shore)

I know this is a lil gross but you can use duct tape to get rid of planters warts. Just cut the pieces to fit the area and wear with socks and your shoes for a few weeks. Its something in the adhesive that kills the wart
