How funny that you asked this, as it ties in with the last question. It was my rag doll, Keri, that I got at my surprise 8th birthday party.
A close second was the (handmade) gift certificate for an overnight stay at the hot springs with soak and massage from my sweetheart last year. Which, sadly, I have not taken him up on seven months later. But it will be divine when we finally get there!

hmmm. i've had some good birthdays, so this one is tough.
for my 12th birthday my mom took me and my 3 closest girlfriends to the galleria in downtown houston. we got to shop and eat treats and ice skate. and to top it off we got to stay in the nice hotel connected to the mall and have the best slumber party ever.
it also could have been my 22nd birthday...when i unexpectedly was given a night out on the town by some friends.
but then, there's my last birthday, where my boyfriend got me a massage, pedicure, and manicure.
see, i told you it was a hard question...

Many years have brought many great presents, but the best 2 are easy.
When I turned 8, my parents bought me a yellow "Snoopy" tennis watch. Even after the batteries died, I kept it until I left to go out on my own...
Last year, my wife bought me tickets to a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey game. (I'm a HUGE hockey fan! The seats were in the second row, right on the blue line. You could see and hear everything on the ice from there.

when i turned 40 my fabulous hubby got me a black bmw 328i convertaible...me and the car have had an intense love affair ever since...we are so in love with each other it's not funny...

I have a hard time remembering birthday gifts, I usually remember the birthday parties and I guess thats maybe more important to me anyway because I care much more about people than stuff. I can really only remember one bad birthday and that happened to be my sweet 16. All the other ones I remember as being perfect x10.
