Eighty-fourth Question

Do you have any brothers and sisters or are you an only child? If you have siblings, how old are they? Are you a first, middle or last child?

If you are an only child, did you wish you had siblings growing up or did you enjoy being the only one?

    Oldest of 4. I love them all. If Skywalker and I could afford it, we would have tons of kids. But last time I checked, kids aren't free.

    i have one sib, a sister 3 years younger than me.
    we are so different in our thought patterns and life patterns that we are on opposite ends of the planet.
    i always wondered what it would be like not to be the oldest. but who spends time thinking about those kinds of things....life is what it is!

    since i came out, i do not speak to my siblings unless i happen to be at a family function (VERY rare) and they come up to me...they believe that i am going to hell and taking my children with me...we dont need to hear this, so i dont talk to them...

    sad, but it is the way it is...

    I have one younger sister. She's 25. She'll be 26 in December. We are incredibly different, and we never got along until recently.

    I always wish I had just one more sibling. So that when I got tired of playing with her, there'd be somebody else.

    I have one sister who is 6 years younger than me. We are closer now than we were when we were younger. I would have had a sister that was one year older than me but she died in childbirth.

    I am basically an only child. I had a brother until I was 12 and he passed away. Also I have 2 half sisters but I never see them and have never been close.

    I was much happier in the years after my brothers passing than when he was alive so I guess I enjoyed being an only child.

    I was the pesky little brother among 2 boys. My brother is 3 1/2 years my senior.
    Though we fought like cats and dogs growing up, we're cool now. I guess that's what living 1400 miles apart and having E-mail as the primary source of communication can do for you!

    I am 56 and the oldest, my only sister is two and a half years younger. We are VERY close and always have been. I did pick on her when we were little and we competed against each-other for boyfriends & cheerleader in high school but she's the best!

    She is going through a tough divorce in Texas just now but will be moving to Florida in the next few months. Selfishly, I can't wait for her to be close by. When my kids were little we lived in the same small town and it was awesome. The possibility of growing old living in the same time zone thrills me!

    I have 1 older brother who is 30 and I'm 27. 3 years apart was optimal for our family. He is old enough to look after me, but we are close enough in age to have something in common.

    I am the oldest. I was born 11/28/72; 1 brother {my mother, different father}G born 11/28/75; 1 brother {my father, different mother}J about 23 years old now.

    I have very minimal contact with G, he and I just clash! And no contact with J, met him once and have no idea how to find him now.

    One "brother", who was abusive to me growing up, then becamse abusive to my parents. I refuse to have any contact with him.

    A birth-sister who I've written email with and talked on teh phone with, but never met in person.

    I'm the only REAL child...lots of steps and halves...but I grew up as the oldest of 3 girls, my 2 half-sisters.

    An only child and it sucked major ass. Every single day I wished I had siblings. Then would have had someone with whom to commiserate about my mother's insanity.

    I am the middle child of 3. I have an older sister (two years older) and a Younger brother (13 months younger). I am the good child of the group.

    I was an only child for 24 years until my father produced another. In every way that matters I am an only child, I am spoilt and selfish, and these are the the characteristics of an only child as far as I can see.

    I have no bitterness towards my new sibling but never consider her my actual sister, as she is related to my dad, not my mother, which is the half that counts.
