The environmental destruction of the planet- we cannot continue at the pace we've set without destroying our home. I wish people would wake up and stop being so wasteful.

The middle east crisis... specifically with Iran. That's going to shape the rest of the future more than we realize at the moment...

Definitely the destruction of our natural resources and our environment. We can't go own living the way we do for much longer.

3 main issues: (Aagh! I'm creating more problems!)
#1- the shameful treatment of the lower class/ poverty-stricken. It's becoming almost as bad as the Indian caste system. Instead of aiding these folks, we're looking down upon them and thrusting them out of our communities and opportunities.
#2- the feeling that Westernized, strongly-armed countries like the US and UK have the right to lord over foreign nations and their affairs. We are presuming that areas like the MidEast and Asia are ours to do with as we please.
#3- The unbalanced economy. The rich (top 1%) hold 70% of all capital and resources, leaving 99% to fight for the remaining 3/10 of the pie. Corporate stiffs like oil execs and insurance CEO's are holding the rest of us hostage. No, this isn't the result of Reaganomics; this has been going on since the New Deal in '33. It's just become more pronounced over the last 20 years.

The Big Issue... Whether to Buy a BMW GS Adventure or a KTM 950 Adventure...? Its a tough one :o) (There you go Nancy ;o) )
OK OK its the same issue as has always been for time memorial...
Our lack of love, understanding and humility, coursed by 'Mans' greed, insatiable lust for Power and xenophobia. This born from his Countries/Religions insecurity and misguided belief and arrogance that his particular social values are the only 'Right' ones.
Step back, sit up and look... There is no right or wrong way to live; we are all just trying to survive... Whether that's in Blighty, the US or Iran... There is No single right way, were all different, every society is different, don't fear what you don't understand, try to.
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi
Sorry, got on my soap box a bit there didn't I... Whoops ;o)

this obsession we have with the assumption that islamic extremism can be changed ... it can't. the more we try to change/eradicate it, the more we validate their thinking and therefore create *drum roll* more islamic extremists. And bit by bit, it's becoming a global obsession that involves war, economies, civil liberties and quality of life

I was going to say environmental degradation or extremism in world belief systems, but I think it really boils down to lack of compassion and responsibility.
