This one Buddhist chant, but I don't even know exactly what they're saying, but I like the melody and the tone... hearing it saddens me and it makes me cry!

Oh! Ew! No! I shall be cremated and then everyone can just get together and eat a lot of good food and get drunk.

I am going to be cremated but if my family wants to get together for a celebration, I want them to play the theme song from the TV show Good Times. It makes me giggle for some reason. :)

No burial for me, either. Perhaps a memorial service/wake, and Mozart's "Lacrimosa" is my choice. (Kind of fitting, don't you think?)
I too want to be cremated, and my ashes scattered on the "Field of my soul," a special meadow I used to go to as a kid. It was where I'd feel the most synchronous (sp?) with everything around me.

I have two songs I want played at mine. 'Time for me to Fly' by REO Speedwagon and 'Amazin' by Aerosmith. Odd choices maybe, but both songs mean a lot to me.

    "1999" by Prince!

But it's gonna be a party - and I would LOVE one of those New Orlean's funeral processionals, where they are all carrying on, having a big time, thru the streets....
