I have always wanted to be a successful artist. One that can actually make a living selling their work...if that isn't a DREAM, then I don't know what is :)

Btw, the painting shown with today's question is by Pop Surrealism artist, Jeff Soto. His work is so frickin' cool, I can't stand it.

To see the world as much as it is, and I do it everyday! yay!!

This particular illustration reminds me of Miss Spider from David Kirk! hehe!

I want to travel and see as many different lands and cultures as I can. I've been to Iceland, Scotland, the Bahamas and Alaska but there is so much more I want to see. To quote one of the Anne of Green Gables books, "I want to see for myself that the world is round."

Unless I win the lottery, this one will probably stay a dream for a long time to come.

OK, my turn. I've always wanted to write a collection of songs and professionally record them. I've got a lot of stuff down on paper, I've got an album concept, and very little money, so... I've got Music Creator software that I can at least record bass, guitar, vocals and keys. Here's hoping.
I am working on a silly little ditty called "She Chews Tobacco But She Didn't Choose Me," which will be performed live soon by the Tommy Devine Band in Bradenton, FL. (Goto www.tommydevineband.bravehost.com.)Plug for my bro!!!!

catchmeifyoucan, FIND the time. Put "time" in the equation when you plan your life and the resources that fuel it.

I can't have had a life long dream until the life is over. But I'm currently living the one I last opted to pursue. I put "time" in the equation, and now I follow my creative instincts for better or for worse.

I'm pretty much living my dream... have a wife, have a now grown kid, have a gorgeous house in the CT 'burbs, and have a great job. The only other things I guess I could wish for would be that we start meeting people in our new area to hang out with.

My dream is the same as Sublime's - only with writing and not art. To be the published writer making a nice living...dream it is! Marrying the right man would also be nice. Again, dreaming!

I wanted to be a successful artist too myself but in this age, you'd have to be dead first to earn a million just like Van Gogh and a few big names.

Not all of us can be as lucky as some "artists" who claim a pile of bricks is ART! haha

I'd like to think I'd be successful at something before I drop dead and be known for it (not the dropping dead part).

Would like to aim and help charity too.

I used to want to teach and coach, but the older I got, the more I realized that is not what I want. My priorities have changed. All I want, honestly, is to live my life to the fullest and not take anything for granted. I don't want to fake happiness like so many settle on doing. I am well on my way to fulfilling that dream.

I always wanted to be an excellent teacher and I think I may have accomplished that.

The second thing is to find love...

Oh well, at least I'm a good teacher

I have said it before and I'm sure it will come up again. There is this bar in Trujillo, Honduras. I want to own it add some rooms and develop some hiking/diving/boating tours and sip SalvaVida's in a hammock writing poetry while I wait for a plane full of tourists to bring money into the local economy and take back pictures and a greater understanding of the beautiful people and the beautiful area.
