Have you already filed your 2005 taxes?
Do you file online or with a tax preparer?
Do you usually get a refund or owe money to the IRS?
If you get a refund, how will you use the money?

    1. half way there.
    2. they are in the mail to the guy who does my dad's taxes. since i moved and had 4 different jobs in 2005, i figured it was better to pay somebody to handle the complications. i'll start doing it on my own next year.
    3. in the past i've gotten a small refund check.
    4. pay my credit card bill down.

    Haven't filed yet. Fran does it with Turbo Tax. We usually get a refund. This year it will go towards helping pay the bills from moving to CT.

    Taxes files, old fashioned way, via pen, paper and calculator. Mainly b/c I need the challenge.
    Always get $ back, but only b/c I've got 3 kids.
    Paying off bills and getting a new puter!

    I always do mine the old fashioned way...and they're finished, signed, and sitting in a stamped envelope on the table waiting to go out and I do get a refund. Yay!

    Figured by H&R Block, filed online, awaiting refund from W., and paid in to the state (thank goodness it was only $13).

    Paying off whatever we can pay off...

    I've filed by paper. I usually get a little money back, but I try to arrange it so it's close to even. I see no reason to give the government an interest free loan of my money.

    I've already filed. I did the telefile last year, but they discontinued it this year so I just sent it in via snail mail. I'm getting a refund this year which is usually the norm. It is being automatically deposited in my checking account and will used towards the bills.
