We watched the first two Austin Powers movies last weekend.

We're going to try to watch 1 to 3 nominated movies before the Oscars on Sunday, but it's a long shot!

The last dvd I got from Blockbuster was Below. It's about a haunted submarine. I'm a tough critic. For me to watch an entire movie is rare. When it starts to suck or drag I remove it from the dvd player. That being said; I watched the entire movie. Hi praise coming from me.

Last rented movie: Highlander 2. Nothing gives a weekend a lift like a super-cheesy 80's flick.
    What was Sean Connery thinking???

We watched Babel on Friday and wish we hadn't bothered. We both thought it was too long, too contrived and too many gaps in common sense. But I will say it was acted well, just the story was too convoluted.
