HA! My idea of camping is a Holiday Inn!!!
That's because my family did a lot of camping when I was a kid in the 50's. Usually we'd load up tents, cots, food, etc. into the boat and head for the Lake of the Ozarks. The bonus was living in a bathing suit and the non stop water skiing.

My wife talked me into renting a lean-to in Allis State Park in Vermont when we were back there one year; it was so early the leaves weren't turning yet, and yet we woke up that morning to frost...
That would have been the early to mid 90's.

We went camping as a family about 4 years ago, on our way up to Canada for my sister in law's wedding. I went camping with the girls from my church I think 3 years ago. I love camping and MISS IT!!!!
Oh, last year I set the small tent up in our living room for my boys to "camp". We made smores and everything! :)
